Glen Kessler has a BFA in Painting from the Maryland Institute College of Art and a MFA in Painting from the New York Academy of Art. He is a two-time recipient of the Elizabeth Greenshilds Grant for Outstanding Figurative Painting, an Ellen Battell Stoeckel Fellow for study at Yale University at Norfolk Summer School of Art, and a Prince of Wales Fellow for study at the Forbes chateau in Balleroy, France. He has exhibited his work nationally in numerous solo and group exhibitions. His work is in collections in the USA, Canada, Israel, France, Australia, and the UK, including HRH The Prince of Wales. He has taught at the Maryland Institute College of Art, Boston University, The Yellow Barn Studio, and Sparrows Point High School. He currently teaches Drawing I at George Washington University and George Mason University.
